About Magic Mile Travel:
With Teresa and Jackie's passion for traveling and Teresa's knowldege of the industry, it only made sense to buy Magic Mile Travel. Teresa, Jackie and Merle Tschakert became the proud owners of Magic Mile Travel, Inc. in July 2006; however, Magic Mile Travel has been in business for over 30 years in Watertown, SD.
That is one of the incredible things about Magic Mile, even though there have been many changes in the indudustry (prime example is 9/11), Magic Mile just adapts to the changes and regulations to meet those challenges.
Why book with an agent vs. going "on-line":
We are often asked, “Why would I book thru Magic Mile Travel, Inc. when I can go “online” and book a “deal” there?” For starters, when you book a trip through these sites you are not getting the customer service you deserve!! It is our “job” to make sure that your trip is going to run as smoothly as possible from the time you leave your house, until the time you get back from your trip. Even if you are still at your destination, we are here to help you with any issues that may arise.
If you have any changes that need to be made to your itinerary, whether it’s changing a departure or arrival date, adding an extra person or canceling your trip, when you go through these “websites”, unfortunately, you’re on your own. There usually isn't someone on the other end of the phone that can help you with your traveling concerns.
